The 76th Annual Tony Awards 2023 took place on Sunday, June 11th to honour theatre professionals for their work both on and off the stage. It was held at the United Palace in New York City, where Oscar winner and Tony Award nominee Ariana DeBose took centre stage as host of the ceremony.

As one of the most recent award show dates before an unofficial summer hiatus, the Tony Awards enjoyed a special time of year, and the Broadway crowd guaranteed a reliable dose of drama and glamour with the wonderful, albeit less risqué outfits than other award shows such as the Oscars, worn by Hollywood stars.

Presenter Ariana DeBose hit the pink-purple carpet in a custom Prada. Jodie Comer posed in a Thom Browne gown with corset and beaded embroidery and took home the Tony for Best Actress in a Play. Lupita Nyong’o exuded a style from another level in custom dungarees moulded from her torso, created by Pakistani designer Misha Japanwala.
