NYFW: These 7 Fashion Trends Will Define Spring 2023

Check out the top seven trends from New York Fashion Week.

New York Fashion Week 2023

With event places hosting a multitude of New York Fashion Week designer shows, the city’s Manhattan and Brooklyn streets are still buzzing with excitement, and sighs of relief, after a long week of fashion shows and presentations.

Designers worked to create collections that feel cohesive with their previous work while breaking some sort of barrier, pushing their designs forward and inspiring a new season of style. As new designer collections debut around the world during fashion month, we begin to see clear fashion trends emerge for 2023.  The predicted trends, which included extreme shoulders, super mini bags, colorful knits, baggy cargo pants, 3D floral prints and lots and lots of glitter, made their way down the runways to give us an idea of what we can expect to buy when the warm season of 2023 arrives.

We saw a lot of innovative and fresh designs that we will be wearing in the coming season, from the over-the-top florals or 3D details as we saw at Patbo, Prabal Gurung or Carolina Herrera, to the sequins and glamour of the ’80s era as seen on the catwalks of Tom Ford, Christian Siriano and Laquan Smith.

Check out our list below for 7 of the best highlights and trends from this year’s NYFW SS23 collections.

FLORALS

Florals are key for this upcoming Spring 2023 season. Creative Designers have presented 3-D floral embroidery, appliqués, and floral-shaped ruffles, turning this trend interesting once again.
