The Best-Dressed Stars at MTV EMA’s 2022

Rita Ora, Taylor Swift and more stars step out in bold, skin-baring styles for the 2022 MTV EMAs. See photos of all the head-turning looks celebs wore on the red carpet.

On November 13, the MTV Europe Music Awards, better known as the MTV EMAs, took place in Germany. It was an incredible gala with many stars in attendance with plenty of surprising moments. Singer Rosalia went home empty-handed despite being up for no less than five awards. However, Taylor Swift, the big favourite, won 4 categories: Best Artist, Best Pop Artist, Best Video and Best Long Form Video.

The gala was hosted by British singer Rita Ora and her partner, New Zealand film director and actor Taika Waititi. They were in high spirits and enthusiastic throughout the ceremony, hosting the gala and rubbing shoulders with artists such as Muse, Ava Max, Bebe Rexha and Taylor Swift, among others.

However, all eyes were on the moments leading up to the awards ceremony, and the MTV EMAs red carpet never disappoints. So, we’ve gathered the stars who were the most talked-about.

RITA ORA

Singer Rita Ora looked stunning in a black and red lace bodysuit by Elie Saab. The dress featured a plunging keyhole neckline and bare back. She completed the look with a pair of chunky black platform heels, bracelets and rings.

BEBE REXHA

Bebe Rexha wore one of the most extravagant ensembles so far. For the occasion, she opted for a creative high-fashion couture look, which featured an edgy blue velvet bodysuit by Fjolla Nilla, and an abstracted panel draped around. She paired the outfit with velvet high heels.

TAYLOR SWIFT

Pop singer, Taylor Swift, looked amazing in a David Koma black ensemble. The dress comprised a black bodysuit with spaghetti straps and a show-stopping, jewel-embellished sheer netted skirt and adorned with larged emerald gemstones. She paired the look with black stilettos and edgy ear cuffs.

As one dress was not enough, she went for a low-cut, jewel-crusted black ensemble. It was a sequin lustre dress featuring a black polo collar and half sleeves. This dress was also designed by David Koma.

LEONIE HANNE

Leonie Hanne was also present at the MTV EMA Awards 2022. For the occasion, the influencer and model opted for a Valentino gown, which featured feather broom and coloured-sequins.  

MAYA JAMA

British media personality and DJ, Maya Jama, looked gorgeous on the red carpet wearing a body-coloured, long-striped, translucent evening dress.

TATE MCRAE

Canadian singer, Tate McRae, looked stunning in an all-black Versace ensemble, which featured glossy leather pants, a corseted puffer jacket, and matching boots. She completed the look with golden hoops, chains and rings.

AVA MAX

Ava Max wore a green velvet Roberto Cavalli cutaway dress with a sweeping train. She completed the look with black high heels.
