Billboard’s 2023 Women in Music Awards kicked off on Wednesday night, March 1, bringing together celebrities, artists and musicians dressed to the nines. The event, which took place at the YouTube Theatre at Hollywood Park in Los Angeles, honoured the music industry’s top artists, creators, producers and executives. That said, we had some great award moments at the ceremony. Big winners included SZA, who received the Artist of the Year Award. Kim Petras knocked down more walls by receiving the Chartseeker Award. Lana Del Rey’s illustrious career earned a well-deserved Visionary Award after 14 years and nine genre-defining studio albums. In addition to the honorees, awards were also presented in categories, such as Best Female Artist, Best Female Album, Female Song of the Year, and Best Female Tour of the Year, among others.

But it wasn’t all about awards and tributes. The ceremony’s red carpet had a big fashion impact! Rosalia dazzled on the red carpet in a sizzling all-black ensemble with transparencies. Heidi Klu\m hit the carpet in an eye-catching ensemble by emerging designer Sohee Park, featuring blood-red floral beads, as well as a coordinating white long coat adorned with matching studs. Lana Del Rey went for yellow, sporting a long-sleeved lace paisley print midi dress by Zimmermann.

OLIVIA RODRIGO

Olivia Rodrigo brought Y2K glamour to the Billboard Women in Music Awards 2023. The singer hit the red carpet in a mahogany top with corset-like sculpting and a pair of tan pants by Chloé with a horse in matching shades of grey and pink printed on them. A totally vintage look!

MADISON BEER

The 23-year-old wore an incredibly low-cut sheer animal print dress that revealed ample cleavage. The sleeveless sheer brown animal print dress had a V-neckline that ended down to her navel. The bodice of the dress featured a fitted bodice that cinched her waist while the rest of the skirt flowed into a ruffled skirt. Madison accessorized with gold jewellery and gorgeous glamour, keeping her brown hair in loose waves.

DOVE CAMERON

Dove Cameron attended the Billboard 2023 Women in Music Awards opting for an asymmetrical dress in a dark green one-shoulder colour with a high back leg slit. She also wore a glove and black stiletto heels with platform.

ROSALIA

Musician Rosalia, who was honoured with the first-ever Women in Music Producer of the Year Award at the ceremony, dressed to kill at the Billboard Women in Music Awards. For the occasion, she opted for an all-black look with a black cropped turtleneck sweater over a sheer mesh dress covered in black dots. She paired the look with a pair of knee-high black pointed-toe patent leather boots.

BECKY G

Becky G dressed to perfection while arriving at the ceremony. She wore a sheer black spaghetti strap mini dress. She paired the look with black peep-toe platform heels.

SABRINA CARPENTER

Sabrina Carpenter looked beautiful on the red carpet. For the occasion, she wore a diamond-shaped midriff cut-out look with a white central twist piece and a black mini skirt with a bow train.

The American model looked colourful and sexy on the red carpet as she wore a long white fur coat and a neon yellow and dark red printed off-shoulder knee-high dress, which featured a V-neckline and front slit.

Lana Del Rey brought elegance and glamour to the red carpet. For the occasion, the “Doin’ Time” singer, who accepted the Visionary Award this year, opted for a lemon-yellow puff-sleeve number with a waist-cinching belt and gold mules.
