The American Music Awards 2022 on Sunday in Los Angeles was the scene of many fashion highlights. The 50th annual ceremony, hosted by Wayne Brady, honoured celebrities and albums with new releases this past year.

Artists taking the AMA stage included Pink, who opened the show. Dove Cameron, Lil Baby, Bebe Rexha, Carrie Underwood, and Imagine Dragons, among others, also performed at the ceremony.

Lionel Richie, a 17-time AMA winner, was honoured with the Icon Award for his career contributions to the music industry. Charlie Puth, Stevie Wonder and other artists offered a heartfelt tribute to Richie.

The AMAs is known as one of the most extravagant carpets. This year’s edition of the AMAs surprised us with a splurge of style and elegance, where glitter was the protagonist. From artists like Tinashe and Dove Cameron, both rocking the red carpet in cool Marc Jacobs ensembles, to Anitta strutting her stuff in flirty Mugler attire, check out some fashion highlights from the star-studded night.
