From ship arrivals to red carpet walks, see all the glamorous looks here.

Venice Film Festival 2022

Glamorous red carpet fashion has once again returned to the Venice International Film Festival.

The festivities in Italy began on August 31 and run through September 10. While the festival is one of cinema’s premier events, it also marks a high point in the fashion world, with actors, models and celebrities regularly handing out lavish red carpets as they arrive in their incredible outfits from Haute Couture designers ranging from Valentino, Armani Prive, Chanel to Gucci and others.

Already in the field were the president of the jury, Julianne Moore, Penelope Cruz, in a resplendent Chanel dress, Cate Blanchett, Hillary Clinton and Timothee Chalamet who stunned the entire event with his backless blood red Haider Ackermann ensemble. Let’s also not forget to mention Penelope Cruz wearing a confetti print Alaïa dress with a heart-shaped leather bodice, while Julianne Moore went viral in a black Armani Privé dress at the Tár premiere.

Below, we track all the looks from the 79th Venice Film Festival, from the attendees arriving by boat to the stars hitting the red carpet.
