The incredible and well-known designer, Jeremy Scott, presented the new Moschino runway collection, combining sexy clothing with whimsical cartoon characters.

Jeremy Scott has presented his new Moschino Spring 22 collection, which took place in Bryant Park, New York city. This location has been perfect because of its important meaning. It is a tribute to the creative director Jeremy Scott’s early years in the big city in the ’90s. Back then, Fashion Week took place there annually.
This new and outstanding collection entitled “Ladies Who Lunch” debuted in a natural setting full of flowers with the kitsch elements that have always characterized this brand with its peculiar and successful social approach.
“Maybe it’s our secret craving the comfort for our hearts. The nostalgia of childhood. The love of being wrapped up in a blanket… That security,” Scott says about his inspiration. “The collection is still a red carpet bonanza, but it’s also as cozy as if your grandma made it.”
The models wore elegant collected hairstyles typical of sixties housewives and childish braids. The clothes also ranged between the figures of the mother and the daughter: tweed jacket and miniskirt suits, preppy-style outfits, shirt or flared dresses, and everything invaded by cartoons, toys, etc.

The collection’s chic animal menagerie included one dress, a three-dimensional quilted pony with a pink marabou mane leaps from the shoulder, a giraffe, with a baby monkey clinging to its neck, pops up from the décolleté and floppy bunny ears coyly cover the bust. The Ladies Who Lunch is fabulous. However, they may also sometimes see the world through rose-coloured glasses.
