We remember young Kate Moss’ best runway looks, and her evolution on the runways.

Supermodel Kate Moss is one of the models who became the antithesis of the supermodel trend of the 90’s. She changed the beauty canon significantly; she was the muse of the designers who loved the margins of the books; she went ahead of fashions and became the most popular muse adored by those who labeled her as trendsetter or it-girl.
Sarah Doukas, founder of Storm Model Management Agency, discovered Kate Moss after a trip to the Bahamas at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. The exuberance of the supermodels of the time, with an obvious femininity, was not so evident in Kate Moss. Her beauty and physique generated a distinct sensuality, an evocative appeal that went beyond a face that even many do not recognize as beautiful.
In July 1990, Kate Moss posed for a series of photographs taken by British photographer Corinne Day – her first youth-fashion magazine cover of a long career as a model.
Without saying more, let’s review Kate Moss’ six unmissable runway moments.
VERSACE HAUTE COUTURE, SS 1996

For Versace Haute Couture Spring Summer 1996, Kate Moss walked the runway in an incredibly flattering bright green cocktail dress by Gianni Versace.
GUCCI, FW 1996

For Tom Ford’s super sexy Fall 1996 runway show for Gucci, supermodel Kate Moss walked the runway totally radiant with her smokey eye matching her outfit.
LOUIS VUITTON, FW 2011

The supermodel closed Louis Vuitton’s fetish-themed AW11 runway show in Paris by stomping around in a black bodysuit, opera mask, leather gloves and bondage boots, while nonchalantly smoking a Marlboro and theatrically exhaling smoke. It was doubly transgressive, flouting not only the smoking ban but also National No Smoking Day.
YVES SAINT LAURENT, SS 1993

Kate Moss walked the runway at the Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture Spring/Summer 1993
fashion show during the Paris Fashion Week in January, 1993 in Paris, France.
JOHN GALLIANO, HAUTE COUTURE FW 1995

For John Galliano’s Japonisme A/W94 collection, British model Kate Moss walked the runway in a bubblegum pink organza kimono with open flared sleeves pulled back and knotted, an idea that came from photographs of Palestinian women making bread and tying the sleeves at the back.
CHANEL, FW 1998

British Supermodel Kate Moss walked the Chanel’s Spring-Summer runway show, 1998.
