But what we should really highlight are the glamorous squads in terms of beauty and hairstyles where they have really outdone themselves for 2023. The most important ceremony for fashion and beauty lovers celebrated the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s new exhibition, “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty”, which of course means that the red carpet honours a very specific dress code, “in honour of Karl”.

In addition to the oh-so-accurate outfits, the Anna Wintour-hosted event was filled with magical makeup looks to analyze, debate, and recreate, ranging from Kim Kardashian’s classic glamour to Doja Cat’s feline cosplay. But we also adored the more subtle hair tributes through flowers and bows as we saw on Anne Hathaway, Karlie Kloss and Sydney Sweeney.

Jessica Chastain made her triumphant entrance at the Met Gala 2023 sporting a stunning platinum blonde hair colour. As for her makeup, Chastain wore denim wash shadows that reminded us of the classic beauty looks of the 90s.

Graham was inspired by the hair of the 1920s and 1960s for her hair. Her shoulder-grazing upturned mane was a clear ode to the 1960s, and the intricate finger waves made us want to wear a flapper dress.

The Blackpink member arrived at the Met Gala with a completely straight XL mane, styled with a crown of braids that cleared her face and revealed her subtle makeup in neutral tones.

The singer dazzled on the Met Gala 2023 red carpet wearing a classic goth and dark feminine style. The singer wore powerful red lipstick and dark glasses to match her dress. “For the 2023 Met Gala, we paired an iconic Rihanna-red lip with a glamorous yet edgy high-shimmer, pearlescent eye,” her makeup artist Priscilla Ono said in a press release.

Another of the stars who have caused a stir is the American model Gigi Hadid, who wore a semi-collected, relaxed hairstyle. In addition, in terms of makeup, the artist wore soft silvery eyeshadow and a single pearl centred under the lower lash line of each eye to denote her look to the fullest and make her radiant and flawless skin.
