Here, we’ve rounded up a list of the season’s top trends and colors.

This year, we’ve watched many exciting fresh new looks emerging in the fashion industry. And the Spring/Summer 2022 has not disappointed at all. It has brought some of the boldest colours and fashion pieces which have become a fashion statement.
Creative Directors presented their collection at the fashion capitals of Paris, Milan, London and New York. Each of them infused their collections with miniature skirts (Miu Miu, Versace, Prada), strappy pieces and unisex suits as well as bold colours. These vibrant colours had their moment on the Spring/Summer 2022 runways, and will carry over to street style and red carpets well into the fall.
HOT PINK

This season it is very fashionable to dress from head to toe in the Barbie shade. Pink is getting warmer and warmer every season. Started by Jacquemus and continued by Valentino, brands are dedicating entire collections to hot pink, making it trendier than ever to overvalue the hue. Also celebrities started to wear pink pieces in different events and even on the red carpet, for example Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Hudgens Leonie Hanne and Kim Kardashian.

HIGHLIGHTER YELLOW

Yellow was Pantone’s color of the year in 2021, and its momentum is only growing in 2022. We’re not just seeing hints of yellow, either: head-to-toe lemon-colored outfits swept the runways at Proenza, Max Mara and Blumarine. Neon yellow looks to be one of the hottest shades next summer being particularly epic when worn head-to-toe.

CUT OUTS

We’re in love with cutouts. They surprised us a few seasons ago, but they will continue to be THE new thing for a long time to come. And that’s awesome when it comes to considering cost per wear and eco-friendliness, because the more often you’re happy to wear a garment, the better. Cutouts – wherever they are in a garment – don’t seem to be going anywhere fast, so you’d be wise to jump on board.

SUPER SHEER

If you like to have fun with fashion (after spending the better part of two years wearing tracksuits), super sheer fabrics will have their moment of glory this spring. Of course, underwear fabrics, blouses, biker shorts or skirts to protect your modesty.
This trend is one of the most flexible of the SS22 season.

WHITE SUITING

This season sees the return of suiting with a vengeance. Stark white and complete with show- stopping accents – from waist ties to contrast black hardware and bold shoulders, these are pieces that should make the prospect of returning to your commute a whole lot more bearable. A trouser suit also provides a chic option for an alternative wedding outfits if you’re looking for something other than a traditional dress.
Spotted at: Teatum Jones, Peter Do, Proenza Schouler – as well as Baum Und Pferdgarten, Holzweiler, Erdem & Michael Kors.
MINI SKIRTS

The minis are back! And, the supermodels of the 90s would’ve been proud to wear, with well over half of the thigh exposed beneath the brief slip of fabric. For instance, Miu Miu created the viral hit of the season but opt for super-statement shades, prints or fabrics to ensure that while your skirt may be small it still packs a mighty punch.
